Davido is a Musical Example of Nigeria’s Cultural Richness, Says Interior Minister

The well-known Grammy-nominated afrobeat phenomenon David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, visited Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, in Abuja as a courtesy.

Tunji-Ojo shared photos from his visit on his X Twitter on Friday, expressing how much he enjoyed having the musician stay.

Sharing pictures from his visit, Tunji-Ojo took to his X handle on Friday to express delight in hosting the musician.

He wrote: “I welcomed renowned afrobeat artiste David Adeleke, widely recognised as #davido, yesterday.

“Davido, through his music, has continued to exemplify Nigeria’s cultural richness and talent on the global stage, and we are proud of him.”
