Davido responds to his 2024 NAACP Image Awards victory

The Grammy-winning musician Davido responded to his enormous victory at the just finished NAACP Image Awards 2024 in a recent post on social media.

During the NAACP Image Awards 2024 on Saturday, March 16, a number of well-known figures were recognized and awarded in major categories. Tems and Davido, two Nigerian musicians, both won an award that evening in separate categories.

Following the success of his viral collaboration “Sensational” with Chris Brown and Lojay, Davido was given an award. The group that swept the globe was honored that evening in the Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album category.

Davido took to his social media platform X to express his excitement for winning the award on the night. This was however not the only category the singer received a nomination in as his viral song Unavailable was also nominated in the best international song category.
