If I Wasn’t Acting, I Would Have Been a Pastor – Deyemi Okanlawon

The well-known Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has disclosed what he would have done for a living if he hadn’t worked in film.

In a recent interview with Pulse, Okanlawon said that if he hadn’t been a thespian, he would have become a Christian preacher.

“I don’t think I can call it a career path, it would have been more of a calling. I think I would have been a pastor [if I wasn’t an actor],” he said.

He stated that he opposes domestic violence, dispelling rumors that he is abusive due to some of the characters he has performed in films.

The actor claimed that the most absurd thing people have said about him is that he is “expensive to hire.”

But he went on to say that it’s not a rumor.
