Omah Lay comments, “I thought OBO hated me,” following Davido’s recent performance of one of his songs.

Following Davido’s recent gesture regarding his music on the live show of well-known internet streamer Kai Cenat, singer Omah Lay has revealed his thoughts.

Today, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Omah Lay shared a statement on his social media site X, which was formerly known as Twitter. In it, he stated that he believed the Grammy-nominated musician did not like him. A day before to Omah Lay’s social media post, Davido had first acknowledged the Soso musician by playing his song during Kai Canet, a well-known internet streamer,’s live stream.

“I’ve always thought OBO hated me!” was the message posted by Omah Lay on social media.

Omah Lay’s reaction to the shoutout had different social media users sharing their thoughts with some mentioning that Davido shows his huge support for different artists at any time. It is however uncertain as to why Omah Lay had initially made the statement fans have their eyes set out as to if this could possibly lead to a collaboration or probably more insights as to the reason behind the statement.
