Senator Shehu Sani attacks the NCC and Telcos for quickly cutting off Nigerian phone lines, although they are having trouble with bandit-used lines.

Kalu rejects Tinubu's appointment to the CBN Board.

The National Commission Commission (NCC) and Nigerian telecommunications firms have come under fire from well-known Nigerian senator Shehu Sani for what appears to be their inability to disconnect phone numbers used by bandits and other criminals quickly enough.

The senator, who is renowned for being vocal on national issues, expressed his worries on social media about the blocking of SIM cards being prioritized over those used by criminal elements.

Senator Shehu Sani brought attention to an odd circumstance in which the NCC and telecom companies swiftly ban ordinary people’s SIM cards in a tweet.

However, they falter when it comes to promptly blocking the numbers used by bandits for ransom collection and criminal activities.

“The NCC and the Telecom operators know how to quickly block SIM cards; the ones they are yet to know how to quickly block are those ones used by Bandits to collect ransom,” Senator Shehu Sani wrote.
