The Idol has finally landed on our screens in June 2023 but audiences were nervous with anticipation about what the new series had in store for us.
Aside from being a tale about stardom and Hollywood’s music industry, The Idol followed rising pop star Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) as she attempted a comeback following a tumultuous period in her personal life.
Enter nightclub owner Tedros (Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye) who enters both Jocelyn’s personal life but begins to influence her entire world.
While we do not have yet a confirmed second season, we already dove deep into that twisted ending to the first run.
The Idol’s cast also includes the likes of Troye Sivan and Moses Sumney, so, naturally, fans may wonder how much the series uses their vocal talents.
