The controversial Big Brother Naija reality star Josephina Ijeoma Otabor, better known by her stage as Phyna, has disclosed that Wizkid is the only Nigerian singer who has left an impression on her.

She claimed that the singer’s latest social media outburst, in which he attacked critics for labeling him as an Afrobeats reject, won her over.

Remember how Wizkid caused a stir when he declared recently that he no longer wanted to be identified as an Afrobeats artist? He also released a statement in which he attacked people who had condemned him for criticizing the genre.

But in response, Phyna praised the singer on the X platform, claiming he is the only Nigerian musician who has impressed her.

She wrote in Pidgin: “Omo I’m loving Wizkid now oooh. Baba no send anybody papa. Gosh…shea person fit change fave? Bcuz like this eh!!! Na only Star boy dy do wetin dy sweet me…Una papa.”

Her post elicited mixed reactions, with many berating her for supporting such crass display while labelling her “razz and clout chaser.”
